Pastor Daniel Espinoza and family

Pastor Daniel Espinoza was born and raised in Houston, Texas.  He was baptized in Jesus name at twelve years of age after his mother, Sis. Rosa Espinoza and her family began attending Life Tabernacle under Pastor James Kilgore.  It was at this age that he felt the calling to become a minister.

He graduated from Milby High School and after graduation left to attend Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont.  After one year, he transferred to Southern Methodist University where he met Sis Carmen, now his wife.  After years of running from the call of God in his life, he finally turned around and began to run towards God.

He enrolled in Texas Bible College in 1996 when again he felt the calling to become a minister.  Pastor Daniel and Sis Carmen were married on August 16, 1996 in Houston, Texas.  He graduated in 1999 from TBC . He did additional studies with Twin Cities University as well as The Urshan Graduate School of Theology.

Upon Graduation from TBC, Pastor Daniel and Sis. Carmen moved to San Antonio in 1999 where she finished her residency in pediatrics and became a Pediatrician.  During their years there, Pastor Espinoza assisted Rev. Jack Dool of Greater Life UPC in New Braunfels, TX.

They moved back to Houston in 2002 and started a family. They have three daughters, Danielle, Dana and Danae. In February 2004, Pastor Daniel felt a burden for his family and friends and began a Bible study at his aunt Coco Herrera's home.  From there, the Bible study grew to have 50+ members on Friday evenings.  He applied for a Home Mission Status and it was granted in May 2004.  The first service for The Promise Church (TPC) was held on May 28, 2004 at the South Houston Community Center.  TPC moved to its present location at 1102 75th Street on June 16, 2004. They have been at this location ever since!  God has blessed TPC in allowing them to purchase the building!

Pastor Espinoza received a Masters in Theology from Houston Graduate School of Theology, in December 2016.  In June 2018, he enrolled at St. Thomas Graduate School and began his pursuit in a Doctorate in Education. Please pray continually for his studies and for the souls that will be reached!

Please pray for Pastor Espinoza and his ministry, that God may continue to use him to win souls for His Kingdom. Also pray for the Pastoral Family and for God’s will with The Promise Church .
